A Rundown Of The Hertz Amplifier Range:

Hertz DPower 4

Hertz DPower 4

The DPower series of Amps such as the DPower 4 represents Hertz’ entry level range and offers great usability from a small unit. Modern vehicles often have a huge amount of accessories and try to cram in as many features as possible – this often means there is little space left for devices such as amplifiers and subwoofers. This is why the DPower range is so beneficial – these amps are ultra-compact and can be installed with minimal effort. For example, the DPower 4 is just 8.75 x 5.59 x 1.99 (inches) making it easy to conceal.

Aside from the fantastic size of these amps, the DPower series also benefits from an efficient D class circuit that offers maximum power, and a bass boost feature that increases the punch of your connected subwoofer. Furthermore, you can rest assured that these amps are easy to use as they feature an automatic on/off function that syncs with your in-car stereo system.

Hertz HP 6001

Hertz HP 6001

If you are looking for flat out performance and power, the SPL Show series is definitely the choice for you! Hertz are renowned for their compact amp creations; however, the SPL Show series foregoes a fraction of this compactness to provide unrivaled output levels. For example, the HP 6001, has an overall size of 25.35 x 11.02 x 2.55 (inches) but boasts power levels of up to 6000W. If you are not concerned about space and want the ultimate in performance and sound output, the SPL Show Series is a perfect choice.

Hertz HP 3001

Hertz HP 3001

Models within the SPL Show range include the aforementioned HP 6001, the HP 3001 and the HP 802. As noted, the HP 6001 can reach an output of 6000W and is the most powerful of the SPL series. Furthermore, this amp can also be chain-linked to a sister device to provide an unbelievable 12000W. The HP 3001 has less output, but can also be chain-linked and offers a smaller device with just as many features. The aluminum heatsink ensures optimum thermal performance, and the circuits were designed with high-performance in mind. Finally, the HP 802 is the least powerful SPL Show model for those who do not require an ultimate output level but still has a fantastic build and a myriad of features.

Hertz MP 15K UNLIMITED

Hertz MP 15K UNLIMITED

Last but certainly not least, we have the SPL Monster series. If you want unbelievable output levels and crazy wattage, models such as the MP 15K Unlimited will blow your mind (and ears). Whilst each Hertz amplifier series features favorable power levels, the SPL Monster goes above and beyond. The MP 15K is capable of achieving 15000W (yes you read that right!). What's more, is that this amp can be stacked together with other 15K amps to create ridiculous power levels (we’re talking 45k plus!).

This level of output is curtailed by the amps advanced power system that features 8 toroidal transformers. Using Direct Current® technology, the power is transferred seamlessly between the vehicle battery and the amplifier. Furthermore, the robust and efficient heatsink system will ensure that despite the immense wattage, the device will never overheat.

The only drawback of the SPL Monster Series is the amplifiers relative size – the MP 15k, for example, measures 12.8 x 32.7 x 2.8 (inches) making it much larger than Hertz' other amps. This amp is not as easy to conceal as the Hertz DPower Series for example and careful consideration must be given to its placement during installation.
